Why contracting a professional if almost everyone has a video camera?

First ask yourself, would you order your wedding cake just to anyone that has a good oven? Surely not! So, if so much attention is placed to the cake, doesn't then preserving your memoirs for posterity?  Sadly, many people leave in the hands of friends, family members and even people without the professional equipment or experience the responsibility for such important task just to lose those moments forever in time.  Preserving those moments require a professional for the following reasons:

Image Quality - Common video cameras can't mach the image quality of professional 3 CCD cameras. Only these can film in very low light conditions commonly seen in all weddings without the use of blinding lights that would destroy the enchantment of the occasion. Also, our video cameras are 100% digital not analog Beta or VHS format.
